Embers Villas & Concierge grew out of years spent working at the highest levels of private hospitality — cooking for guests aboard superyachts, running kitchens at luxury villas across the Mediterranean and Southeast Asia, and leading private events where every detail was non-negotiable.

We kept seeing the same problem — stunning villas, exceptional guests, and an experience that fell short because the support just wasn't there.

Founded by British chef Charlie Dorney, Embers Villas & Concierge was created to bridge that gap. To bring the same standard of care and attention you'd find on a private yacht into every villa stay, every private dinner, every curated experience across Thailand.

Based in Chiang Mai and operating across the country — from Phuket's villa coast to Bangkok's quiet city retreats — we are a small, dedicated team that takes your experience seriously.

Charlie is a British chef with over 16 years of experience working across Michelin-starred restaurants, private villas in the south of France, superyachts, and high-profile events throughout Europe and Southeast Asia.

Having spent years cooking privately for high-net-worth guests, Charlie understands better than most what luxury hospitality looks like from the inside — and where it tends to fall short. Embers Villas & Concierge is his answer to that gap.

Based in Chiang Mai, Thailand since 2018, Charlie has built deep relationships across the country's luxury villa, restaurant, and experience scene — a network that forms the backbone of every Embers concierge service.
